Tariff	From the 1st January 2010 there will be a new pricing structure at Avington Trout Fishery, regrettably we are having to increase prices. Price Increase from 1st January 2010 We regret that due to the rising cost of fish food and the return of VAT to 17.5%, we have found it necessary to increase our prices as follows: 4 Fish Ticket £65 + VAT = £76.37 3 Fish Ticket £55 + VAT = £64.62 2 Fish Ticket £40 + VAT = £47.00 Visit Fee £30 + VAT = £35.25 Plus £3.50 per pound of fish caught (pre gutting weight). Carrier Only £30 + VAT = £35.25.

Avington Trout Fishery, near Winchester, Hampshire, is one of the oldest stillwater trout fisheries in the country, famous for its clear water stalking and the big fish it produces. Our Tackle Shop is now open...The venue is also renowned for the varied fishing on offer, either on three lakes stocked with quality trout from our own fish farm, or on a half mile double bank stretch of a carrier fed by the River Itchen.

The excellent fishing is matched by the beautiful surroundings. The lakes are set in the peaceful Itchen Valley on land once part of the adjoining Avington Estate, designed by the great Capability Brown.

The three lakes are surrounded by a wide variety of mature trees and shrubs, making this one of the most attractive and tranquil fishing venues in the country.
